Simply remove the barrel and exchange it for a brass or copper one of the same size. This procedure takes only around ten minutes of your time.
Step 4 - DIY Darts or Stefans: Half-inch foam backer rod is actually the material that forms most Nerf darts. If you get a 20-ft. pack at the neighborhood hardware supply, guess what you have? You're the proud owner of 20 feet of darts in-waiting - but you'll have to perforate them. Simply trim the material to create about 75 dart-size sections per pack. With just a plain old blow dryer and a case from a pillow, you can perform the cutting and straightening.
