Make sure you know what ingredients are inside your skin products. It's best to use products with a minimum amount of ingredients. If you have sensitive skin, more ingredients could be entirely counterproductive. As a result, you may experience even more redness and irritation. Even worse, your skin may suffer breakouts!

Moisturizing should be an important part of your skin care routine, even if you are prone to oily skin. After washing your face and in advance of applying make-up, be sure to moisturize. This will balance the oil in your skin, giving you a refreshed look. If your skin is naturally quite oily and you use a strong drying agent, you are sure to find that your skin becomes overactive in the production of oil in order to compensate.

If you don't want to switch foundations in the summer, mix some sunscreen into the liquid version of your favorite product. A lot of different make-up brands are already blended with SPF. Add sunscreen to your liquid foundation if it doesn't already contain some. Use a couple drops of the sunscreen, and then mix it completely.
