"Jeff Koons was a dream for us; as his work deals so much with pop culture, it lends itself so well to this type of project," explains Yvonne Force Villareal of her latest Works on Whatever venture with Doreen Remen, a limited-edition plate that launches today on Sothebys.com and in Bernardaud boutiques in New York City and Chicago. The plate, of which up to only 7,000 will be made, makes reference to Koons's sculpture Acrobat (2003-2009), from his "Popeye" series. "People might want to save these as collector's items, but we imagine some great dinner parties too!" Remen adds.
