You Have To Want It More Than You're Afraid Of It

You've got to truly want it more than you are afraid of it not happening.

Each and every day, day, we have occasions to grow, change, and rise to the challenge in life. What may seem like another day is actually a great opportunity to do something fantastic. True, most of the days we have may start as standard, but our plans that we have for ourselves, if instituted, can really turn something lackluster into something, well, incredible. It takes effort. A good deal of effort. Everything in the world is going to be pushing you to just stay the same. Because this is where the majority of us are. We are living in the middle. Not in the sense of classes etc, but in the sense of what we do with ourselves. When we start adventuring towards the edge, that is when things become exciting. But simultaneously, that's when the uncertainty of the future becomes greater and bigger. You have to choose for yourself if you will be OK living in a place of uncertainty and yet be committed to total belief in what you're actually doing. Trust me, it's tough.

Call it the universe, call it God, call it whatever it is you want to call it, but the fact is the same. You are here for an excellent reason and you have abilities that need to be drilled into talents. What ends up going down though is that we worry too much about what others think and we begin to worry that what we love isn't going to happen due to one reason or another.

Much of the time, great ideas die with the people who they live in. Lots of people take their dreams to the grave and never see them through because they are honestly just too afraid. Fear is the primary killer of dreams. This may be dread of failing, fear of opinions, fear of ridicule...nevertheless, fear drives one to shrink in the possibility they have.

It would be stupid for me to suggest to not be terrified. Anyone that honestly says that they aren't scared should really consult a medical practitioner. It's what you do after being afraid that counts. That's where courage comes in. Real courage is that loony 20 seconds after being deathly afraid where the true magic appears. It's fine to be afraid, but like I have said before, you have got to desire it more than you are alarmed of it. You have got to decide that it's what you really want and then be white-hot and enthusiastic about it. Without that call to rise to the challenge, you may truly flounder back and forth for eternity. Decide.

Be driven by everything and everybody around you saying...no. Make that your fuel. Don't let it bring you down. Let it incentivize you to keep going. The innovators that make the biggest difference in this world are the ones who don't let the external world effect their souls belief in their dreams. Protect your dreams with dragons, guards, and trolls. Do whatever you can to keep them safe and harbor that belief. You would be shocked by how straightforward it is to let a voice or an opinion dig its way into your heart and then slowly burn everything within. Only let people and words that continue your communicable belief in your purpose enter into your heart.
