Becoming one professional military lawyer may involve two careers such as Judge Advocate General Corps and JAG Corps and combining them. To be a one officer of the General Corps should have the following opportunities for certain officers, career, duties, and respect for providing high quality services to a duty serviceman and woman. Officers in JAG Corps are those professional lawyers with necessary skills in handling service community members, legal issues, and trained leaders.

These professional lawyers are those that are involved in the broad range of the cases concerning the administrative and civil law, operational and international law, military justice, and fiscal and contract law. This is a great opportunity for the careers of young lawyers from Evergreen, CO who are interested on challenging themselves into a variety of fields. The following are the different areas involved in military law practice Evergreen CO.

First is criminal law. Judge advocates would either act as the defense counsel or the prosecutors for courts martial. After obtaining the trial level experiences, they can be the appellate counsel. Second is legal assistance. For those working on a legal assistance, they provide a counsel to soldiers and retirees and as well as to the families concerning the issues. Tenth are contract laws. An army deals on contracts that are in large amounts as part of budget. The advocates purpose here is reviewing the contracts for research and development, construction, services, and supplies. Rendering legal opinions on contract appeal dispute, contract terminations, bid protests, and procurement procedures is also their task.
