Crocodiles are big animals that can instill fear in a person who has never gotten close to them. Louisiana alligator tour has been so helpful as it makes the viewing of these animals much easier because they are enclosed in swamps. Louisiana has proved to have the largest population of crocodiles than all the other states hence it tends to attract more tourists who like visiting these creatures.

Due to the natural fear of these creatures, most people tend to run the moment they spot one. On the contrary, these animals are rarely violent, and they cannot harm a person if they are not provoked. Even though they look evil and dangerous, they are good peacemakers, and they cannot deliberately attack a person who has not violated their peace.

These crocodiles possess one of the strongest bites compared to any other living animal, but they tend to avoid any contact with humans. Therefore, it can be so easy to walk around watching them without them even turning towards people. This makes it easy for people who have fear towards them to take a quick look before they run.

This state did not always have such a big population of these reptiles. The community started growing when the wildlife and fisheries department noticed that there was a massive drop in their population due to poaching. These poachers used to kill the animals and sell their skin mostly to the fashion industry. Due to this, conservation programs were started to protect the animals, and their population has grown over the years.

Crocodiles are big animals ranging from eight to fifteen feet tall. Also, their mortality rate is low, and they can live up to 80 or more years. The guides see to it that the visitors are safe and they warn them not to feed the animals to avoid provoking them as they might become violent and seriously harm them. They have a very fierce bite that can instantly kill a person.

Most tourists prefer visiting this state because of the high crocodile population which is kept in covered swamps. This makes it easy for most people to watch and get close to them without fear of being attacked by them. To add on that, the guides make sure that they have given the visitors a brief history of the gates making the whole visit to be interesting.

The gates usually hide in the waters, and they tend to sleep during the day and lurk during the night to find their prey. One cannot easily spot them as they only put their eyes and snout above water while the rest of the body is hidden in the water. It is thus advisable to always be accompanied by a guide.

The tour guides have made it possible for many people to visit the crocodiles in this state as the visitors feel at home. This is because most of the guides have mastered most foreign languages so that they can easily communicate with tourists from various states. Also, the guides are welcoming and friendly visiting so unusual for the visitors.
