Fiber is also very good at soaking up and flushing out cholesterol obtained via your diet, thus it effectively spares your arteries from becoming clogged and narrowed. Because boiled is low in sodium most of the time, your blood pressure can be kept from spiking. Anyone who is suffering from hypertension is encouraged by his or her cardiologist to eliminate high sodium foods from the diet.

Not so many people know that cholesterol can either be good or bad. According to health authorities, peanuts are rich in good cholesterol that's capable of eliminating bad cholesterol. This is the reason exactly why people who are told by their cardiologists to reduce their bad cholesterol should think about peanut intake.

Too much of something good is bad, and everyone knows this. It's for this reason why your peanut consumption should be in moderation only. Otherwise, you are likely to encounter some serious health issues. Per day, you should limit your peanut intake to 1 to 2 ounces.
