The constitution is an important tool. Without it, a country is simply a failed state. There is no prosperous nation on earth that does not have a constitution. In some cases such as BVI, Britain, and the United States of America, there is a written constitution. There also countries that have oral constitutions. A constitution should not remain static. It should constantly change to remain relevant with the present day needs. According to British Virgin Islands law, which is enshrined in BVI constitution, there is no one who is above the law. Everyone is equal before the face of the law.

There is the citizenship stipulation. This deals with the various ways of becoming a citizen in British Virgin Islands. Every country should especially have citizenship laws. There should be a clause that defines who a citizen is. It is important to note that residency and citizenship have different meanings. A person can be a resident while he is not a citizen of BVI.

A resident is a person residing in a country whether or not he is a citizen. Therefore, an individual can be a resident of one country and a citizen of another country. Citizenship can be acquired through the process of birth. Being born on BVI soil qualifies an individual as a BVI citizen. There is also citizenship by marriage.

Taxation stipulations address a wide range of issues. First and foremost, they indicate the body that is in charge of collecting taxes in British Virgin Islands. They also define people and entities that are liable to taxation. Anyone that earns an income paid by any BVI employer will need to pay BVI income taxes at the end of the day.

A person residing in BVI has plenty of freedoms. He has the freedom to worship is a way that he sees fit. There is also the freedom of movement. For there to be freedoms, there have to be responsibilities. The taxation responsibility is something that falls on the shoulders of each and every citizen and resident in BVI.

Some stipulations relate to how a business can be formed in this British jurisdiction. There are a number of business formations. There is the need to choose the right type of formation. The company is the most popular type of business formation. On one hand, there is the public limited company. On the other hand, there is a private company.

One of the best places to incorporate a company on earth is BVI. That is due to a number of factors. Generally, this place has a business friendly environment. That is the reason why it usually attracts businesses from different parts of the world. The incorporation process is easy and straightforward. One can even carry it online.

The legal system is not a new thing. It has existed for thousands of years. In addition, it will not end any time soon. It will continue existing till the end of time. There is a reason why laws are formed. They are formed for the peaceful coexistence of society members. If there are not there, disorder and chaos will definitely reign.
